緬甸局勢越演越烈，根據「援助政治犯組織」（AAPP）29日最新消息，28日再新增13人身亡，至今軍方已奪去459條性命（包含35名孩童），2559人仍受當局拘捕。

軍政府於27日建軍76週年「軍人節」，對國內44處城鎮大規模血腥鎮壓，當天累計114人遭射殺，成政變以來「最血腥一天」。同日，更對當地武裝組織「克倫民族聯盟」（KNU）控制地區發動一系列空襲，目前克倫邦慕特勞區（Mutraw）已有3千多人逃往泰國。

示威者形容，27日這天軍方對平民，就如殺雞般毫不留情撲殺，民眾頭部背部中彈之餘，更有嬰兒眼睛遭橡皮子彈射中，在第二大城曼德勒共40人喪命，最大城仰光也有27人罹難。而軍政府同時則於首都奈比多舉行閱兵典禮，還邀請中印俄等國代表出席、共享晚宴，與街頭慘狀根本天差地別。

《Irrawaddy》報導，27日晚間9時，軍方突襲曼德勒昂梅達贊區（Aungmyaythazan），在當地大肆縱火。當時手無寸鐵的烏艾科（U Aye Ko）原本試圖搶救火場，卻慘遭軍方開槍。烏艾科倒地痛苦呻吟之際，軍警看他還留有一絲氣息，直接朝他身上潑汽油、點火，變成一團火球、死命掙扎的烏艾科，便在不斷叫喊「救救我啊！媽媽！」之後，化作一具焦黑屍骨，徒留3位喪父孤兒。

克倫邦在27日則有3人喪命、7人重傷。軍方當天派出2架直升機，對位處緬泰交接慕特勞區、共5處發動空襲，還包含邊境流亡者聚落，迫使萬人遷居。泰國公共電視台（TPBS）回報，目前已逾3千人穿越邊境逃到泰國尋求庇護，無數人躲在叢林中。當天稍晚至隔日中午，邊境薩爾溫江（Salween River）流域仍接連遭遇襲擊。

據悉，克倫民族聯盟於2015年便已簽訂停火協議，但自軍方掌權後雙方關係愈加緊繃，KNU與撣邦重建委員會（RCSS）皆指責軍方濫殺平民，揚言政府若再大開殺戒，便會組建聯邦軍隊保護民眾。緬甸聯邦議會代表委員會（CPRH）也於27日聲明應和。

目前緬甸約有逾20個少數民族武裝組織控制各地。KNU軍隊、克倫民族解放軍（KNLA）指揮官表示，將會與學生等公民聯合推翻軍方法西斯獨裁統治。

對於緬甸軍警慘無人道行徑，美英加、日韓、澳紐、德義、希臘、丹麥及荷蘭，共12國國防部長，則於28日發出聯合聲明譴責。聯合國人權理事會調查員安德魯斯（Tom Andrews）更以「大屠殺」（Mass Murder）形容，表示「如不能經安理會處裡，也能舉辦國際緊急高峰會」。美國總統拜登（Joe Biden）也說緬甸情形相當糟糕、「非常駭人聽聞」。
