美國國家颶風中心預計，熱帶氣旋在22日晚將再度成為熱帶氣旋，並離開陸地。在6月初到11月底的大西洋颶風季節中，克勞德特屬於第三個被命名的風暴。美國國家海洋暨大氣總署表示，2021年出現的颶風可能高於平均，會有13到20個颶風被命名。
