烏克蘭西部靠近波蘭的城市利維夫（Lviv）13日傳出數起爆炸聲響。利維夫州政府其後指出，並非利沃夫本身受到攻擊，而是隔壁城市亞沃利夫（Yavoriv）的國際軍事基地遭到俄軍以「超過30枚巡弋飛彈」空襲（airstrikes）。

空襲在13日凌晨5時45分開始，至今死亡人數攀升到35人，有134人受傷，現場還有許多未爆彈等待清除，目前不清楚是否有任何外國軍事訓練員在基地內。

亞沃利夫最近離波蘭只隔12英里（約25公里），為許多外交官與媒體的臨時駐點位置，也是烏克蘭難民撤離的中轉站之一，十分靠近東歐，猛烈攻勢引起震驚。

英國《金融時報》報導，美國官員表示，俄羅斯自入侵以來一直向中國索取軍備，白宮憂中國可能決定幫助俄羅斯侵略。
