中國廣東省靠內陸的城市近來因連日暴雨而導致嚴重水災，迄今為止，超過11萬人被迫暫時離開家園，並造成至少4人死亡、10人失蹤。

新華社報導，廣東省政府今天（22日）表示，連日以來的暴雨造成的嚴重水災，導致廣東省已有4人死亡、10人目前仍下落不明，其中3名死者住在肇慶市，另1名死者是在韶關市參與救災的救難人員。韶關及青遠市都有民眾失蹤。

當前的廣東水災，影響城市包括肇慶、清遠、韶關、廣州、惠州、河源、梅州等，這些地級市下的許多城鎮傳出災情，包括大水漫灌成水鄉澤國，房屋毀壞，道路不通，山崩土石流等。 目前洪災已造成36棟房屋倒塌，48棟房屋嚴重受損，全省直接經濟損失超過1億4千萬元人民幣。

水災也導致11萬人被迫離開家園，暫時遷往他地居住。在微博上，一名網友表示，大水淹到他們家一樓的半層高度，他們緊急把家當遷到二樓，但很擔心水位會上升到二樓；另一名網友則說，晚間的雨勢大到像是瀑布，當時他在高速公路上開車時，完全看不到路。

法新社報導，除了廣東省靠內陸的地區外，中國國家氣象中心預警，沿海的深圳，還有香港，以及與廣東相鄰的福建、貴州、廣西等省分，都會受到強降雨影響，雨勢今天晚間仍然不會停歇，而且明天仍可能會再有一天暴雨。
